Pros and cons of LeagueSecretary.com app for iPhone and iPad

LeagueSecretary.com app good for

Does its job just fine. Saves me from having to go through their website every time I want to access league information. It is a little clunky but works and updates well.
Had trouble figuring out app but getting better. Interface has more info than previous version. Having multiple leagues in list make it more challenging. Charts need more work. App quicker than website but website still has a lot more options. Still, a good idea.

Some bad moments

This new version updated on 10/12 is horrible. Every time you select an option an AD pops up. The old version did not have this. Get rid of the ads every time you select an option
The UI is much improved over the last version. I like that I can now see my time and lane assignments as soon as I log in. However, this version is ridiculously overcome with ads. Not small non-intrusive ads; the video game ads that take over the full screen, and you have to wait 5 seconds to close them. And they come up with every few clicks in the app. Absolutely ridiculous! And I will not pay a recurring membership fee in order to get rid of the ads. A one-time fee, maybe, but not a never ending fee!
Just updated the his app today and logged on for the first time and within 2 minutes time I had 8 ads pop up, Really, come on now. I cant click anything without a stupid ad. I love the layout and concept but the ads made me want to throw my phone! Please get rid of ads or at least have not so many!!!
Look I know developers deserve to be paid for their work but this is the wrong way to do it for this app. I dont want to sit through full page ads just to get to the info Im after. And theyre way too frequent. Charge for the app and Ill gladly pay for it but dont annoy us with ads like this.
Before the latest update, this was a convenient app that was quick and efficient - I would have rated it four, maybe five stars. Now there are so many ads that its useless unless you are willing to watch a video every time you click on something. Its quicker and easier to just go to the website. I understand thats how they make their money, but the user experience needs to be factored in as well.
Very fast, love the notification when our standings have been updated.
